Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 84 in September 2019
 •  4.0

This is great. Nose is tar and iodine, with a good amount of peat smoke. Tastes nutty, with darker fruits and sherr. Finish is medium. With some water, this was amazing! All the caramel and vanilla from the bourbon barrel come out.

 •  3.0

Potent burn surprising levels of funk. This peat reminds me of a more subtle version of the Jamaican rum funk.

 •  1.5

Like a blind date where personalities clashed from the first hello, this one is not a match. Way too opinionated and argumentative for my taste.
