Johnny Drum Private Stock

Blended Bourbon
15 Years Old
50.5% ABV
$34

Huge value buy in the mid-$30 range. Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (KBD) is also known as "Willett". The bottle says "Johnny Drum Distilling Company in Bardstown, Nelson County Kentucky," but that is just a front for Willett A.K.A., KBD.

We tasted Johnny Drum Private Stock at Meeting No. 37 on June 24, 2015. We rated it very highly at 3.14 out of 5. Johnny Drum Private Stock ranks 51st overall in Bourbon.

Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 37 in June 2015
 •  4.0

Johnny Drum: a really nice one for a daily driver. Caramely and slightly cinnamony. I can see this being invitingly dangerous on a Saturday night.

 •  3.5

Johnny Drum Bourbon (Kentucky Bourbon Distillers): kind of zigs where other bourbons zag on the front of the palate. Vanilla and some diminished heat.

 •  3.0

I'd be happy to have this on a fishing trip.

 •  2.0

Johnny Drama: Smells like the way my rubber baby dolls smelled. Tastes like bourbon.
