Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 66 in February 2018
 •  3.5

Great nose of fruit and spice. Like a cherry Calvados. Light on the tongue but velvety and soft even at a (perfect) 46 percent. Pleasing but needs more oak and time I think.

 •  3.0

Rose lip balm. Almost perfume nose. Spicy, cinnamon and anise.

 •  1.5

Instant notable aroma of fruity baked goods - like a Fig Newton or maybe a cherry pie. Sipping it transforms the experience into memories of cherry cough syrup. Justin, you might actually be sipping something very similar from a small plastic cup as we pass around the bottle at the meeting this evening. Hope you feel better buddy.
