Citadelle Reserve

Gin
1 Years Old
2013 Vintage
44% ABV
$30

Citadelle started barrel aging their gin in 2008 as an experiment. Slowly tinkering the botanical recipe and the maturation each year. 2013 was the first year that they used the solera aging technique and actually created the 1st ever Solera Aged Gin.

We tasted Citadelle Reserve at Meeting No. 67 on March 29, 2018. We rated it very highly at 3.44 out of 5. Citadelle Reserve ranks 8th overall in Gin. At a street price of $30, this is a great buy.

Floral, botanical, nosey!

This was a nice, herby drink. I could get down with this. Not sweet or cloying in any way. Crisp. Le gin.

I agree this is in fact summer in a bottle. Limoncello meets grain alcohol in the best possible way.
