Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 61 in August 2017
 •  4.5

Syrup scotch, caramel. Whoa, I'm very happy with this specific tasting and might actually look for a bottle, even though the cost is prohibitive - it's that good! Doesn't remind me of scotch, more bourbon-like.

 •  4.0

Smoky goodness. The maturity comes out in this unique spirit. Second to last bottle was appreciated!

 •  3.5

I love the nose and the idea more than the spirit, but I do find it very drinkable.

 •  2.5

Smells like Drambuie. Gets into my nostrils like a burning ember. Someone said sulpherous. Tastes like I remember whiskey tasting like when I tried it for the very first time.

 •  2.5

Scotchbroom anyone?

 •  2.5

Dark amber coloring. Aggressively musky, like drinking whiskey out of an old storage chest. Interesting and complex, but not particularly pleasant.
